Kubernetes & containers
Design, build, upgrade and operate Kubernetes clusters, managed or self-hosted. Cluster reviews, hardening, autoscaling and Helm packaging by a CKA-certified engineer.
Profimedia is a small team of experienced developers and DevOps engineers. We design, automate, secure and run infrastructure in the public cloud, on-premises, or anywhere in between.
Hands-on engineering across the whole delivery and operations lifecycle, from the first commit to production and beyond.
Design, build, upgrade and operate Kubernetes clusters, managed or self-hosted. Cluster reviews, hardening, autoscaling and Helm packaging by a CKA-certified engineer.
Fast, reliable pipelines that build, test, scan and deploy automatically. GitOps workflows so every change is reviewed, versioned and easy to roll back.
Public cloud, private data centre or a mix of both. Migrations, landing zones, networking and cost optimisation, chosen for your needs rather than a vendor's.
Reproducible, documented infrastructure defined in code and kept in Git. No snowflake servers and no undocumented manual steps.
Architectures that stay up when components fail: redundancy, load balancing, clustered and replicated MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL, tested backups and clear recovery objectives (RPO/RTO).
System hardening, automated OS and application patching, vulnerability and image scanning, secrets management and least-privilege access. DevSecOps built into the pipeline.
Metrics, logs, traces and meaningful alerts, so problems are spotted before users notice. SLOs, runbooks and calm incident response.
Running AI workloads in production: GPU scheduling on Kubernetes, self-hosted LLMs, model serving and pipelines, plus practical AI-assisted automation for engineering teams.
Profimedia is an independent consultancy of a few experienced developers and DevOps engineers, based in London. We are not a large agency and we don't pretend to be one.
That works in your favour. There are no account managers or sales layers: you speak directly to the engineers who design, build and support your systems. Decisions are quick, communication is straightforward and the people who build it are the people who answer the phone.
Our background covers both software development and operations, so we understand what development teams need from a platform, and what it takes to keep it running at 3am.
A simple, transparent process with clear scope and no surprises.
We review your current setup, risks and goals, and agree what success looks like.
A pragmatic design and a clear, prioritised plan. Right-sized and not over-engineered.
Delivered as code, tested and repeatable, in small increments you can see and review.
Documentation and knowledge transfer, with optional ongoing support, patching and upgrades.
Proven, widely supported open-source and cloud technologies, chosen to fit the problem.
We are deliberately small: a few experienced developers and DevOps engineers. You work directly with the engineers doing the work, with no account managers or sales layers in between.
No. We work across public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), on-premises and bare-metal environments, and hybrid set-ups that combine both.
Yes. We regularly review, upgrade, secure and stabilise existing clusters, as well as build new ones. Our team includes a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Yes. We install, tune, upgrade and migrate MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL, and build highly available set-ups such as MariaDB Galera Cluster and PostgreSQL replication with Patroni, including backups and point-in-time recovery.
Yes. Alongside one-off projects we offer ongoing arrangements covering OS and application patching, Kubernetes upgrades, monitoring and general infrastructure maintenance.
We are remote-first and based in London. We work with clients across the UK, and can meet on site in London when useful.
Tell us briefly what you are working on. We'll reply with honest advice, even if that means we're not the right fit.
